Inside the shell of a private profile
A private Instagram shows strangers a name, a picture and a closed door. Everything behind that door is what a Peekdoid report sets out.
Instagram lets anyone set their account to private, and from then on every new follower has to be okayed. The profile still looks like a profile from outside, but its posts and lists stay shut. Peekdoid takes the username of that account and sends back the layers it keeps under the shell, each one named, in a single view you read top to bottom.
- Secret messages
- The conversations tied to the account you entered, the layer most people look for first.
- Profile stalkers
- The people who keep returning to look at the profile.
- Screenshot alerts
- When something on the account was captured by somebody else.
- Story obsessions
- The stories the account keeps coming back to.
- Unfollowers
- Who left the account's follower list, watched for you.
The shell is what everybody sees. The report is what lies under it.
How a search runs
- Press the button on this page. The Peekdoid lookup opens in the same browser tab.
- Type the Instagram username exactly as it is written on the profile. Every dot and every letter matters.
- Read the report: messages, stalkers, screenshots, stories and unfollowers all stacked on one screen.
Peekdoid or Peekdroid?
Both spellings get searched, often with "apk" or "download" after them. This page is Peekdoid, and it runs in the browser, so there is no file to install on Android or iPhone. You just open it and go.
Worth knowing before you search
What helps
- All five layers come back together, so nothing needs a second search.
- A username is the only thing it needs.
- It works from the phone browser you already have open right now.
What to expect
- A misspelled username points the report at the wrong account.
- You may read something you would rather not have seen at all.
- One search covers one account.
Spell the username right and the rest happens by itself, no extra work.
Before you type a username
Do I need to download an app or an APK?
No. Peekdoid opens in your browser after the button, on Android and iPhone alike, just the same.
What do I type?
The Instagram username of the account you want to check, without the @ if you prefer. Copy it from the profile to be safe and paste it here.
What does the report include?
Secret messages, profile stalkers, screenshot alerts, story obsessions and an unfollower tracker for that one account, all in one place.
Is Peekdoid the same thing as Peekdroid?
People type the name both ways. The lookup behind the button on this page is Peekdoid, either way.
